Julio Ragas
Julio Ragas is the manager of our immigration department. Ragas was promoted to this role after only a short time with the firm due to his demonstrated leadership skills, legal aptitude, and genuine likability among the staff. Ragas joined the firm with a wealth of international legal experience and, as a law student at Georgia State University, is currently on track to become a licensed attorney in the State of Georgia. Ragas earned his J.D. from the Universidad Central de Venezuela in 2008, having practiced in Venezuela as a commercial and corporate lawyer and an associate lawyer for the legal Department of the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Venezuela. He has more than ten years of experience in international, immigration, corporate, and commercial law, in addition to a broad academic background including advanced Spanish-English linguistic skills.
In 2010, Ragas earned a Master’s Degree in international relations from the Universidad Catolica de Avila in Spain, having the opportunity to work on Human Rights projects with local nonprofit organizations. In 2011, Ragas earned a second Master’s Degree in International Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, specializing in public and international law.
In 2012, Ragas earned his Master’s in Spanish Legal Practice while working in Madrid, where he gained further legal experience in international contracts, immigration, and corporate law. Ragas has experience practicing law and business consulting in Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the United States and provides our firm with a distinctive, cross-disciplinary set of skills. He has been singled out and recognized for his intellect, interpersonal acumen, and effectiveness in process improvement.
